Please Help Granny

OMFG, I have only now just regained control of my legs. It has been exactly 7 days and I think my lower thighs went into a cataclysmic shut down. In fact four days after finishing the pyramid in sub target time. I tried to hurry across the road as a Jeep Cherokee bared down on me on my way to work. I went to hurry my shuffle and nearly collapsed under the tread of the wheel.

A few things occurred to me at this point. Number one A Jeep Cherokee has really good brakes, Number two I am crazy and three I am still in a good position at achieving my goal. In fact after climbing the mountain I had a feeling this would be the last time I did it until the end of the wet season. This is not so. I will do it again soon, barring foul weather and the blister on my little toe healing (post firs ascent).

Lets face it if I can get my time down to under three hours in the summer I should have no troubles getting it further down in the winter. The other thing I need to do is refocus my energies. A quiet word to a personal trainer at the gym I think should do it. Thankfully the gym offers free personal trainer sessions once a month. Sticking with the idea "I will achieve this myself", I will have to consult the trainer with some specific thigh endurance exercises to avoid further meltdowns. Lets face it you don't suck eggs with out speaking to Granny first...
